From the Headmaster–Winter Facilities Update

Hello Liberty Families,

As many of you heard at the Christmas programs, I announced the launch date for the unveiling of our Phase II expansion plans! February 1st will mark a community-wide event—a historic event—at our White Bear Lake campus. It is going to be an incredible evening and we hope to celebrate God’s blessings with each and every family. You should all have received an invitation to the event in the mail last week, and I’ve included it below — save the date!

In anticipation of the launch, I want to give a brief update on where we stand with regards to the expansion plans. As I mentioned in my fall facilities letter, we began the entitlements (approvals) process with the City of Hugo, which required a decision be made on the next phase of construction and the cost of construction. Late last month, we submitted an updated site plan that includes a detailed layout of Phase II, and we are on track to continue meetings with the Hugo Planning Commission and the City Council regarding these plans both this month and next.

Our February 1st event will also mark the kick off to the public portion of our Capital Campaign. At the event, we will be able to share the Capital Campaign goal, as well as our progress toward it and a potential construction timeline. We are deeply thankful for the generous support that we have received thus far, and we have faith that the Lord will provide both a clear path and the means necessary for the implementation of Phase II!

God has been ever-present in this process, and I cannot wait to share what He has in store for the future of Liberty Classical Academy. I want to thank you for your prayers and encouragement throughout our journey together, and I hope you will all join us on February 1st!

Wishing you a blessed New Year,

Mrs. Rebekah Hagstrom, M.A.
