Logic Teacher

We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Logic Teacher to join our team at Liberty Classical Academy, serving students from preschool through 12th grade. The ideal candidate will have a deep love for Christ, a commitment to classical education, and the ability to inspire students to think critically, reason effectively, and communicate with clarity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach Logic to students in middle school, cultivating critical thinking and reasoning skills.
• Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans aligned with the school’s classical education model and biblical worldview.
• Equip students to construct and analyze arguments with precision and charity.
• Foster a love of learning and intellectual curiosity in students.
• Integrate biblical principles into the curriculum and classroom instruction.
• Assess and evaluate student performance, providing constructive feedback.
• Participate in faculty meetings, professional development, and school-wide events.

Qualifications:

• A strong commitment to the Christian faith and the ability to integrate it into teaching.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Philosophy, Theology, Education, or similar); Master’s degree preferred.
• Familiarity with classical education principles, including the trivium.
• Experience teaching Logic or related subjects is preferred but not required.
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
• A desire to partner with parents and the broader school community in fostering students’ spiritual and intellectual growth.

Long-Term Substitute Teachers

Liberty Classical Academy is a Christian, classical Preschool-12^th grade private school with two locations in White Bear Lake and Hugo, MN, and we are adding to our tremendous team of experienced and talented teachers! We are accepting applications for Long-Term substitute teachers. Positions open include the following:

*4th grade - February of 2025

*Band (grades 5 - 12) - Immediate Opening

Successful candidates will have experience teaching students in a classroom setting. Knowledge of classical teaching methods is preferred. Candidates must be detail-oriented, have excellent organizational and communication skills, and have the ability to interact with students, parents, faculty, and administrators with strong, interpersonal competency. Teacher Aides

Liberty Classical Academy is a Christian, classical Preschool-12th grade private school with two locations in White Bear Lake and Hugo, MN, and we are adding to our tremendous team of experienced and talented teachers! We are accepting applications for classroom teacher aides beginning in the fall of 2024. Preschool (7:30 am to 1:30 pm), before-school and after-school caregiver positions are available. Successful candidates will have prior experience in a classroom. Knowledge of classical teaching methods is preferred. Candidates must be detail-oriented, have excellent organizational and communication skills, and can interact with students, parents, faculty, and administrators with strong, interpersonal competency.
