TEACHING POSITIONS
Science Teacher (Immediate Opening)
We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Science Teacher to join our team at Liberty Classical Academy. The ideal candidate will serve students from preschool through 12th grade and particularly teach in the Upper (High) School Science Department. The ideal candidate will have a deep love for Christ, a commitment to classical education, and the ability to inspire students to discover God’s general revelation in the natural sciences.
Responsibilities:

Teach Science courses to students in upper school, cultivating critical thinking and reasoning skills.

Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans aligned with the school’s classical education model and biblical worldview and rigorous approach to science education.

Equip students with a rigorous understanding of the facts of the natural sciences and the scientific approach to investigating the natural world.

Foster a love of learning and intellectual curiosity in students.

Integrate biblical principles into the curriculum and classroom instruction.

Assess and evaluate student performance, providing constructive feedback.

Participate in faculty meetings, professional development, and school-wide events.
Qualifications:
-
A strong commitment to the Christian faith and the ability to integrate it into teaching.

Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Physics, Chemistry, Biology, or similar); Master’s degree preferred.

Familiarity with classical education principles, including the trivium.

Experience teaching science courses and associated labs, including at the AP level, is preferred, but not required.

Excellent communication and classroom management skills.

A desire to partner with parents and the broader school community in fostering students’ spiritual and intellectual growth.
Salary: $41,000 - $50,000 subject to qualification
FTE: .50 - 1.0

Are you passionate about nurturing young hearts and minds? Liberty Classical Academy is seeking a dedicated and loving caregiver to join our team to work with children from birth to 3 years old in a faith-based environment.
Responsibilities:
- Providing compassionate care and supervision to infants and toddlers.
- Engaging in age-appropriate activities to promote development.
- Maintaining a safe, clean, nurturing classroom environment
- Collaborating with parents to support each child's growth and well-being
- Upholding and modeling Christian values and principles
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working with infants and toddlers preferred
- A nurturing, patient, and energetic personality
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Commitment to the missions and values of a Christian school

Hourly wage: $16
