Teacher Request Policy (Lower School Only)
Objective: To provide an avenue for parents who have legitimate academic or behavioral concerns to request a Lower School classroom teacher.
Scope: All students in grades K through 5
GUIDELINES
Requests must be made ONLY via an official hard copy, typed letter with a well-documented academic or behavioral reason for the request. Liberty strongly values the input of parents regarding their children, and we will do our best to accommodate requests for legitimate academic or behavioral reasons while recognizing the needs of the other students, as well. Final decisions will be made by the administration while considering the parent’s request and the well-being of the other students and teachers. While we cannot guarantee a parental request for a particular teacher, parents may make an official request in writing for a teacher based on well documented academic or behavioral reasons.
