20 Years of Valuing God, Family, and Country

20 Years of God, Family, Country:
Liberty Dad Dan Hanson and the Wounded Warrior Project

At Liberty Classical Academy, we're excited to celebrate 20 years of valuing God, Family, and Country. Our excitement is rooted in deep gratitude; thankful to live in a country that is unlike any that has come before it. What is often described as "traditional values" or "the Judeo-Christian ethic" is, in fact, the very thing that has made this nation all that it is. An acknowledgment of God, His standards, and our need for His blessing and guidance have been woven into the fabric of our nation from the beginning, and we are committed to preserving that.

So much is changing in our culture and it is upon this reality that we seek to reflect this value for God, Family, and Country in our school and instill it into the hearts and minds of our students. By leading them in conversations about the philosophies and ideas that shaped our nation, and by recognizing the essential role that God Himself had in structuring and preserving our nation, we can pass on both the gratitude we feel for it and the passion we have to preserve it.

GOD, FAMILY, COUNTRY IN THE CLASSROOM

Dan Hanson is a Liberty dad. a veteran, and an Outreach Specialist with the Wounded Warrior Project. On top of this, he takes time to share his work with Liberty students. Dan has dedicated his life after military service to those who dedicated their lives to our country. His work is about lofty things like national pride and our highest ideals, but it's also about people. It's about soldiers. And it's in this space that Dan does the work he does and reaches the veterans who have given so much. The stories he tells are important for students to hear and we are grateful that Dan takes the time to share them with our students.

Partnership with organizations like the Wounded Warrior Project and people like Dan Hanson are much more than a public awareness campaign or a strategic partnership for Liberty Classical Academy. It's a reflection of what we hold most valuable. As we reflect back with gratitude on 20 years of valuing God, Family, and Country and as we look ahead to all that's to come, we're committed to building lives that honor God and value His blessing and leadership in our nation.
