After School Program Assistant (Part-Time)

Liberty Classical Academy is a Christ-centered, classical Preschool–12th grade private school with campuses in White Bear Lake and Hugo, Minnesota. We are seeking a dependable, caring, and energetic After School Program Assistant to join our team at the White Bear Lake campus.

This part-time role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with children in a faith-based school environment and is passionate about creating a safe, engaging, and nurturing atmosphere after the school day ends. The After School Care Provider plays an important role in supervising students, fostering positive relationships, and ensuring a smooth transition between the school day and home.

Liberty Classical Academy – White Bear Lake Campus (White Bear Lake, MN)

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise students in the after-school care program, ensuring a safe, positive, and engaging environment
  • Monitor student check-in and check-out procedures, ensuring students are released only to authorized individuals
  • Lead and supervise age-appropriate games, activities, and free play
  • Encourage positive student behavior and foster respectful interactions
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming care environment
  • Communicate effectively with parents and school staff regarding student needs and daily activities
  • Follow school safety procedures and respond appropriately to student needs

Qualifications

  • High school diploma preferred but not required
  • Experience working with or supervising school-age children preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Reliable, punctual, and dependable
  • Ability to work independently while creating a positive, nurturing environment
  • Commitment to a Christ-centered educational environment

Schedule, Pay & Benefits

  • Schedule: Monday–Friday, 3:30 PM–5:30 PM
  • Job Type: Part-time
  • Pay Range: $16–$17 per hour, based on experience and qualifications
