Academic Probation
Objective: To ensure all students are working to their highest potential in each class.
Scope: All students in grades 6 through 12
GUIDELINES
- If a child receives two F’s (quarter or semester) in a year or is consistently performing below grade level, to the detriment of the class, the child will be placed on academic probation.
- A meeting will be scheduled with the parents/guardian, Director and teachers to develop an Academic Improvement Plan.
- Academic probation will end when all components of the Academic Improvement Plan have been successfully completed.
- If the student does not demonstrate clear improvement as outlined in the Academic Improvement Plan, he or she may be un-enrolled by the Assistant Headmaster for the upcoming academic school year.
