School Bus Driver (Part-Time)

Liberty Classical Academy is a Christ-centered, classical Preschool–12th grade private school with campuses in White Bear Lake and Hugo, Minnesota. We are seeking a reliable, safety-focused, and flexible School Bus Driver to join our team for the 2026–2027 school year.

This part-time role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with students and is looking for consistent, flexible hours in a supportive, mission-driven school environment. The Bus Driver plays an important role in safely transporting students between campuses and to school-related events.

Liberty Classical Academy – White Bear Lake & Hugo Campuses (MN)

• Safely transport students between the White Bear Lake and Hugo campuses on scheduled morning and afternoon routes
• Provide transportation for field trips, extracurricular activities, and special events as needed
• Maintain a safe, orderly, and respectful environment on the bus
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Follow all state and school safety policies and procedures
• Communicate effectively with school staff regarding routes, timing, and student needs
• Represent the school in a professional and courteous manner

Qualifications

• Valid Minnesota Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with School Bus (S) and Passenger (P) endorsements required
• Clean driving record and ability to pass a background check and DOT physical
• Prior bus driving experience preferred
• Strong commitment to student safety and reliability
• Ability to manage student behavior in a positive and professional manner
• Punctual, dependable, and flexible with scheduling needs
• Commitment to a Christ-centered school environment

Schedule, Pay, & Benefits

• Schedule: Part-time, flexible hours based on routes and school needs
  • Typical schedule includes morning and/or afternoon routes depending on school needs and your schedule preference
  • Additional hours available through field trips and special events
• Hours: Approximately 10–20 hours per week, with opportunity for up to 20–30 hours based on availability
• Job Type: Part-time (school year)
• Pay Range: $24–$26 per hour, based on experience and qualifications
