Grit & The Middle School Years

We’re talking all about middle school. That’s right. Those special three years right in the middle of a Liberty Classical education. Mr. Bryn Homuth, Middle School Director, and Mrs. Angela Johnson, Middle & Upper School Art Teacher as well as a Licensed Therapist, dive into the importance of having grit and perseverance in middle school as well as how parents and teachers can support their children in forming those characteristics. We tackle questions like why allowing children to fail helps them grow, why being low-technology supports learning, how parents and teachers can support them along the way, and much more.
