GUIDELINES

DEDUCTIONS FOR LATE ASSIGNMENTS:

10% of the student’s score will be taken off of assignments turned in 1 class period late.
20% of the student’s score will be taken off of assignments turned in 2 class periods late.
30% of the student’s score will be taken off of assignments turned in 3 class periods late.
When an assignment has not been turned in within 3 class periods, it becomes incomplete, and students will only receive 50% of their overall score for the assignment.
Parents with students who have excessive late or missing homework assignments will be contacted by their teachers.
If work is not turned in by the end of the quarter, it will be considered a missing assignment and the student will receive an incomplete until the assignment is turned in.
Students will have 2 weeks following the last day of quarters 1-3 and one week following the last day of quarter 4 to turn in all missing assignments (this does not apply to junior or senior students).
Assignments turned in during this time period will be worth no more than 50%.
If assignments are not turned in, the student will receive a zero on the assignment.
