Academic Probation

Objective: To ensure all students are working to their highest potential in each class.

Scope: All students in grades 6 through 12

GUIDELINES

  1. If a child receives two F’s (quarter or semester) in a year or is consistently performing below grade level, to the detriment of the class, the child will be placed on academic probation.
  2. A meeting will be scheduled with the parents/guardian, Director and teachers to develop an Academic Improvement Plan.
  3. Academic probation will end when all components of the Academic Improvement Plan have been successfully completed.
  4. If the student does not demonstrate clear improvement as outlined in the Academic Improvement Plan, he or she may be un-enrolled by the Assistant Headmaster for the upcoming academic school year.
